Term 1 Dance- Recap & Videos!

Hello! My name is Ellie Haines and I have been fortunate enough to teach your children Dance for Semester 1, 2021. All students have been so welcoming and bring positive vibes to the Dance Hall every week! I have been SO impressed with all student's 'give it a go' attitude and am so excited for you to see your children shine in the first OLC Dance Concert on the last day of Term 2! Year 3 Dance: Summer & Winter In Term 1 the Year 3 students were exploring movement using the different weather seasons as inspiration. In small groups students used this theme to choreograph their own dance routines. All student’s creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm in this task was outstanding. Each class focused on Summer or Winter and brainstormed different dance moves that showcase what we enjoy in these seasons. All Small Groups performed on stage in front of the class, some even bringing costumes in from home for their performance! Please find the video link at the end of this blog
